Course selection depends on the level of responsibility placed on a person within a specific job role. Duty Manager/Supervisor etc. or above should look at completing the full Pool Plant Operator course. Below the level of Duty Manager/Supervisor etc. the Pool Plant Foundation course is recommended. Refer to the lists below for further guidance.
- Leisure Centre Manager
- Leisure Centre Duty Manager
- School Site Manager
- School Head Caretaker
- Hotel Manager
- Spa Manager
- Spa Therapist
- Any facility with operational spa units on display (eg. retail outlet, distributor, installer etc.).
All the above levels of responsibility should attend the Pool Plant Operator course.
- Recreation Assistant
- Lifeguard
- Swimming Teacher
- School Caretaker
For the above levels of responsibility, as long as there are other staff who have the Pool Plant Operator qualification, the Pool Plant Foundation course would be suitable.
